
The exhibition New Masterpieces. Ulmberg Collection showcases the outstanding works of art from the Ulmberg Collection and complements them with individual works from the Kirchner Museum Davos. Its focus is on the paintings of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner as well as on masterpieces of Expressionism, classical modernism and art from the second half of the twentieth century.
The members of the Kirchner Association are cordially invited to catch their first glimpse of the expressive paintings presented in this exhibition at the preview on October 12th, before the official opening of the exhibition. During the preview there will be a panel talk with Katharina Beisiegel, Director of the Kirchner Museum Davos and Prof. Dr. Christian Spies from the Department of Art History at the University of Cologne. At the subsequent aperitif, all visitors are invited to share their impressions with one another.
