Guided tours

The Kirchner Museum Davos has expanded its range of guided tours in recent years. In addition to the regular public guided tours, guided tours for groups can be booked for times during and outside opening hours. External guided tours are welcome, must be booked in advance and are subject to a fee.

PUBLIC GUIDED TOUR OF THE CURRENT EXHIBITION

Experience our exhibition in a 45-minute public guided tour in German or English.

Reserve your place conveniently in advance via our ticket shop. We strongly recommend booking ahead, as tours are regularly fully booked.

Every Tuesday and Friday at 4:00 pm / Sunday at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm (German)
Sunday at 2:00 pm (English)

 

Price for the guided tour:
CHF 9.– (excluding admission). In the ticket shop, the guided tour and admission ticket are sold together. Please select the appropriate ticket category when purchasing.

Remaining tickets – if available – can still be purchased at the museum desk. Reservations by phone or email are not possible.

For holders of cards that grant free admission (e.g. Raiffeisen Premium), advance booking for guided tours is not available.
Please book directly at the museum desk on the day of your visit.

Guided Tours

  • Guided Tour: 45 minutes, in German, up to 20 people: CHF 150 plus entry fee

  • Guided Tour: 1.5 hours, in German, up to 20 people: CHF 230 plus entry fee

  • Foreign Language Surcharge: CHF 30 per hour

  • Workshop for Adults: 1.5 hours, up to 10 people: CHF 250 plus entry fee

  • Children's Birthday Party: 2 hours, up to 12 children: CHF 320 (entry fee not included)

  • External Guided Tours: Up to 2 hours, up to 20 people: CHF 90 plus entry fee

  • Special Opening Hours: Before 11 a.m. or after 6 p.m., or on Mondays: CHF 100 per hour

  • Additional Supervisors: For groups over 50 people: CHF 50 per supervisor

A different kind of museum tour focusing on the museum building designed by architects Gigon/Guyer as well as on the fascinating figure of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner as architect, painter, photographer, and author. We take a look behind the scenes of the museum, draw with our cell phones, marvel at Davos stories, and climb to lofty heights. An entertaining, light-footed tour for groups and teams engaging minds and hands.

City Walk

The expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner spent his highly productive last 20 years in Davos. How did he perceive his new chosen home after his formative time in Berlin? We dive into Kirchner's world back then, following traces of his life and works. We explore his themes, his views, and some of the places that played a role for him. Join us for a varied city walk and time travel experience!

2-hour guided tour in German: CHF 320. –

Price for groups up to 20 people.

Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, as we will be exclusively outdoors.

Accessibility: Everything is wheelchair accessible, but some paths are very steep and paved.
