On June 9, 2024, we are opening two new exhibitions: "I pretended to study architecture": The unknown Kirchner and Art at Kirchner Park: Concrete art. Harmony in colour and form. The exhibition "I pretended to study architecture": The unknown Kirchner focuses on the influence of Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's study of architecture and presents designs and sketches that shed light on Kirchner's unknown side as a trained architect. In addition, the exhibition shows selected paintings that reveal the extent to which his knowledge of architecture accompanied him in his artistic compositions throughout his life.

The exhibition Art at Kirchner Park: Concrete art. Harmony in colour and form pays tribute to the artistic legacy of the four visionary Swiss artists Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Max Bill, Gottfried Honegger and Verena Loewensberg and invites the public to explore the connections between art, architecture and nature.
